Dr. Sherry was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to the Philadelphia suburbs at age 12.

Education and Training

  • Graduate, Harriton High School, Rosemont, PA
  • Undergraduate: University of Rochester, Rochester, NY – B.A. in Biology cum laude
  • Medical School: Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio – Doctor of Medicine
  • Internship in Internal Medicine: Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC
  • Residency in Ophthalmology: Penn State University (Milton Hershey Medical Center) and Temple University Hospital with additional training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Wills Eye Hospital
  • Fellowship in Anterior Segment Ophthalmology: The Medical Center of Delaware.
